Villafranca del Bierzo to Vega de Valacarce 17km 4hrs easy walk mostly on roads no big hills yet.We seem to be following the running river as we go along ,they have plenty of water in there rivers.We went thru three little towns today and there are a lot of mountains all around us.The place we are staying is small but good.
Cacabelos to Villafranca de Bierzo7.5km 2hrs we only did a short walk today we have to many day and not many km we don't want to get to Santiago to soon or we have stay in hotels for a couple of day which is a costs a lot more .The place we are staying in looked good on the outside,not so good on the inside.Not much to about today trip there is nice church and an old castle and a very nice cake shop.
Molinaseca to Cacabelos 23km 5.5hrs a long walk but a bit easyer than yesterdays just about all the way on road,did it a bit faster than yesterday.Some nice scenery on the way and couple of nice towns.The place we are staying is very good it is a two bunk room with toilet and shower,we had octopus for lunch it is the specilty of the region it was very good.
Foncebadon to Molinaseca 20km 5hrs stated with an up hill climb, that wasn't to bad then started the down hill part that was on very rocky ground for rest of the way .Only past thru one town today , the rest of the trip will be very up and down.The place we are staying in is very nice ,single bed again it is much better than having to go up and down again.
Murias de Rechivaldo 21km 5.5hrs the walk started easy then go harder as we went up the hills and thru the bush over very rocky ground and we still got there by 12:00.The place we are staying in part of the church
Villares se Orbigo to Marias de Rechivaldo 20km 4.5hrs the hill started today, not to many and they weren't to high,went thru a small city couple of churches and couple of towns .Staying in small place tonight, they only have single beds not bunksbeds that is good.
Villadangos del Paramo to Villares de Orbingo 17km 4hrs short walk today not much to see,couple of corn farms two villages and a lot of cannals.The place we are in is very nice and small but good.
