Santiago de Compostela

Today we walked to a whole lot of churches went to mass at 12:00pm, had lunch at 2:00pm went to a mueseum had some nice fresh cake to eat,went back to our room and had a rest.We have met people from about 25 diffrent countries on this trip and they were all very friendly, it was a very good trip to make.

Amenal to Santiago de Compostela 17.5km 4hrs a long walk today for the last day of walking,the whole way in drizaling rain and fog at least it kept it cool.A lot of people on the track today and a very big city to walk thru.There are many diffrent churches in this city.We had a very nice lunch again today at a little cafe.The place we are staying is at some lady we met on the streets house,she is on the second floor we are on the first only 20€ a night.

Amenal

Salceda to Amenal 12km 3hrs a dark and foggy walk thru forrests  and a couple of towns.We were going to stop at the town before but it was only 9:00am so we went on to the next town,the hotel we were going to stop at was full so they drove us to another hotel and will drive us back in the morning.So we have a double room with our own bathroom again.We had lunch at the hotel and it was the best meal we have had for the whole trip a very good seafood plater.

A Salceda

Arzua to A Salceda 13km 3hrs  a nice walk bit of a up hill climb,a clear sky day bit cool to start but warming up.Only two days and about 30km to go.We are staying at motel tonight we have our own room and own bathroom,cost a little bit more but I don't really care I might get a full nights sleep.

Melide to Arzua 14km 3hrs we did the walk very fast today for some reason,it looked like it was going  rain for most of the way but didn't.We were going to stop at the town before but decided to do the extra three km to the bigger town and to make it easyer for tomorrow.The place we are staying is ok it is clean and not to cramped.

Palas del Rei to Melide 15km 3.5 hrs a little bit longer walk today, just made it before the rain started very over cast the whole way dark when going thru the forrests .Melide is a very big city  some old building and some new.We should have four more days of walking to Santiago de Compostela.
